Parnall Elementary School serves 654 students, grades K-2, and has an average daily attendance of 96%. Learning opportunities in language arts, math, science, health, social studies, Spanish, physical education and music are provided. Our staff works consistently as a team to improve methods of teaching, as well as increase the appreciation and love of learning in our students. The instructional staff includes 25 full time classroom teachers which provide an environment that is conducive to learning. We also have instructors for music, physical education, health, Spanish and a full-time Guidance Counselor. Students receive Title I support services from an instructional support team composed of two learning specialists and four paraprofessionals. The background and experience of the staff allow the opportunity for students to be exposed to an array of experiences. All instructional staff members have a master’s degree, a certificate endorsement, or other special training in early childhood beyond their bachelor’s degree.
